Bursaries for Women - apply now!

Bursaries of up to £500 are available now for women who want to take the next step in their education or career.  Grants are for:

• education or training in sectors and trades linked to science, engineering, technology or the built environment - that are "non-traditional" for women
• any related costs including, for example: fees, equipment, transport and childcare  
  

Priority is for women who  

• have not yet had the chance of education at a level 2 trade qualification or above
• are living or studying in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire
• are on low incomes or benefits

 
Women may be already learning or working in a non-traditional area, or wanting to enter these areas.  Applicants are not expected to meet all the criteria.
